Operating in temperatures as low as -30 degrees will not affect the new battery packs. To prevent accidental starting while in transit, just unplug the battery pack. You will like the new sealed forward/reverse buttons that lock out the nastiest weather. Incorporate these features with the new bigger motor that delivers more power on lower amperage, and you now have the best electric ice auger drive ever designed. This unit will accept 8" bits or smaller. Turning 350 rpm at the cutting edge. The drive comes standard with the adaptor shaft for hand auger and a 24volt charger. Cut over 30 holes though 28" inches of ice on a single charge.

This unit will accept 8" or smaller auger bits. Designed mainly for inside ice houses, comes standard with adaptor shaft for hand auger, 12' of cord. Simply hooks up to any truck, ATV, or 12 volt marine battery. 195 rpm at the cutting edge, you just simply drill your hole and push the reverse button to remove the ice slush from your hole. This unit only weighs an amazing 15 lbs, and will except the 24 volt battery pack if you would choose to run it on 24 volts.
